The source site of the project is the Hanyang Iron Works founded by Zhang Zhidong, which is the beginning of modern Chinese industry. The existing industrial site community with a building area of about 53,000 square meters is currently the largest urban renewal project with the most concentrated sites in China. The total construction area is about 1.3 million square meters.
